Jody's extensive experience involved working with units of government, community organizations, businesses, and agricultural producers. Her primary focus encompassed project planning, business funding, and the intricacies of grant-writing and administration. Notably, Jody's impact extended beyond her immediate responsibilities as she provided consultation to other REAP grant writers, contributing to the success of over 100 REAP projects benefiting rural small businesses and agricultural producers across more than 20 states.
Her administrative prowess was further evident in her management of various loan and grant programs, supporting sectors such as business, energy, and rural electric cooperatives. Jody facilitated funding for $1.2 million in energy grants and $25 million in direct loans. As a key member of the Business and Energy guaranteed loan committee, she maintained a loan and grant portfolio of $286.5 million without delinquencies.
